Made by Studio Malm, the deflated vase is a casted earthenware ceramic sculpture. Perhaps mimicking a crumbling fossilized plastic bag or a decaying deep sea organism.The piece is Intricately made, with asymmetry from all angles, unorthodox organic shapes, and a strong presence with its crystalized blue hue. All gesturing towards something of science fiction. This is emphasized by the modern production methods that have been put to use, such as computer simulation and 3D printing.
